Life In A Brief Glance

Ah well. Here I am, posting from my phone, cause the com is currently not available. I guess this is what it's like when you have a sibling who has just completed their 'O' or 'A' levels. I wonder how it'd be like for my siblings once I finish the inevitable 'A' levels..

So I heard, this blog's template is screwed. Ahh but with phone, searching for a new blogskin and changing this would be torture. Hope you understand! Well if I get hold of the busy com tonight I might fix the skin.

I went to a guitar shop in Bukit Timah Plaza today with some people from the level and some juniors to get our guitars! My Mum came along to pay. Obviously, I bought the cheapest one. Apparently it works the same as a $500 Yamaha brand one. Mine cost $175. It looks ordinary, but it's my first guitar. :) Haha I'm gonna practice after this post.

I've been sleeping at 1am or 2am at night (or morning), and waking up at 10plus or 11am. That partly explains my recent frequency of sore eye. Another factor is that the bathing soap or shampoo keeps getting into my eyes whenever I shower. Perhaps I need to gear up with goggles when I bathe.

Homework has been terrifying. I hate the dumb graph questions for Math. I had to flip through half of this year's notes to do half the physics paper. So far, I only finished all the Chinese work. And guess what? I haven't bought A Man For All Seasons. I haven't started Chemistry. Isn't this just great? Anyone willing to lend me the book for LA? I'm not going to school until 16th or 17th to buy the uniform. Or I might even buy the uniform from Shaw Centre. Darn. I wish I was really free.. Then when I'm doing all the stuff called 'Distractions', I would feel better too.

And my phone inbox is now overflowing with 2080 messages. I can't send 1 sms out without a complain from my phone.

I JUST WANNA SLEEP AND SHUT OUT THE WORLD!

Blogskins Are Driving Me Nuts

What the crap. I keep having problems with blogskins. I can't find suitable ones, the ones I want have problems, etc.

Now is looks screwed, and I don't have all the time in the world with the computer. So once again, I apologize all this. I needa go now! Who knows when I'll be back to save this blog.

AHHHHHHH.

2010

Though the year haven't officially end, something has ended... School. This is a rare year that we are upset that school has ended, because it was our finally year together. And there's lots of homework. :/

So now I'm waiting for a reply that tells me I'm officially in guitar. Alright I'm so sorry I gotta keep this post short. Check my other blog soon! XP

'Interesting' Day?

The haze is terrible. Why must they burn down forests?! Anyway, I'm in Malaysia with my dad. Since both of us don't know how to cook, we went out for lunch. We went to a mall that was not very well maintained (in terms of cleanliness). But many Malaysian malls are like that... Anyway, after eating, we needed to buy soap refill packs cause my mum informed me to. When we looked out into the open, it was pouring mad. The carpark was outdoors and we didn't bring the umbrella cause it was sunny. Well, not anymore. And so, we were stuck in the mall. We walked around on the first floor. My dad was not very much of a shopper, unless the kind of shopping you talked about is electrical appliances. So I was munching on some awesome waffle with chocolate while briefly scanning through the shops with him. We stopped by a Celcom (Malaysia phone/internet network) booth and the sales person started to chatter off. My dad didn't seem to be too keen on listening, though he was interested in the plans they offered. I stood there and stared and waited... It was still pouring mad the same. I couldn't finish the other waffle, I was too full. Finally, we walked off from the booth with my dad saying his usual "I'll think about it". We sat by the small entrance/exit of the mall, waiting for the rain to reduce to drizzle, but it was the kind of rain that lasts long. Then, a Malay lady came and sat beside me. She, too, was stuck because of the pouring rain. Then, she gave me a revision for my upcoming Malay oral test. I tried my best to understand, which I mostly could (after piecing the words together), it wasn't as easy replying. She was quite entertaining, in a good way. She complained of the rain and we were in the same situation. Haha, being stingy, our cars were parked at the nearby mini furniture mall instead of the indoor parking lots provided, cause we needed to pay RM1 to get in. The funniest part was when she complained about her husband, who went strolling in the mall cause it was raining and he couldn't get to the car anyway. When the rain lessned a bit, my dad went in the rain and got the car and umbrella. I said goodbye to the lady. Then, my dad brought me with the umbrella to the car, warning me before I encountered the puddles of water.

So, after being stuck in the mall for about 3 hours today, I learnt that umbrellas are highly essential in life.

Stuffs

Oh my... There's so many tests coming up soon! I wonder what I'm still here doing... I can imagine all my other classmates mugging away. But I still need my relax-time! :D Some excuse huh? I finished reading the Chinese short stories and Math Homework Set 2 only... Sad. I still have so much to study, and a swimming test that I can't practice to worry about. And things that are supposed to relief stress just made things worse... What has become of this world.

Luckily I have friends by my side who understands me, and also some who understand how I feel. I would feel alone in the world sometimes... But I'm fine now. :)

Here's a brief line-up of what's gonna happen on my blogs:
-Super long post on what has been bugging me since I dunno when, super splash of my thoughts, opinions and feelings. :O

-Exclusive post: Introduction to my home in Malaysia.

Hahahaha I feel like I'm advertising my blogs. If you're interested check out this blog or the other sometime in November!

Till then ya. :)

That Choking Feeling

I feel like there's something stuck in my throat now. It's that kind of feeling when you're dreading something I guess. Or when you regret something you've done.

Now I wonder: What triggered this feeling?

At first, I thought it's the leader in boarding issue. 5 people from our class officially applied, but Ms Lee only interviewed 2 of us because the rest have attire issues or punctuality issues or disciplinary issues. Jie Min and I were interviewed, and it seems like only 1 of us will get through. Ms Lee seems to want us to communicate better... Which is scary. Nvm, at least I can camouflage among the juniors if I get through. And also, why do I get this feeling that I'll get through? I think Jie Min should be the person to pass. :D Cause her grades are much much better than mine and she answered the interview so much better. Haha nvm, cause what is done is done.

That brings something to think about... What is making me feel that lump in my throat and the strange discomfort in my stomach? I think... It's because there's training from 8am - 6pm on Monday Tuesday Wednesday. :/ And I can't deny that I'm dreading this. Cause I'll be kinda left out sometimes and the trainings are really HELL. And I really meant it. Oh man I wanna quit because of this but I don't wanna quit because I like basketball... But seriously does the training have to be like that? Sian. Even if I get this over and done with I still have December holiday to worry about. Omg. Sigh.

Woo! September holidays are here! Argh if it even is a holiday... The homework we have now is twice as much the homework we got for June holidays when the June holidays are longer. Man I wonder what's wrong with my tenses. Nvm. And sigh the weather these few days is freaking hot and I hate perspiring for no apparent reason. Argh I have a headache from all these shitty crap and homework.

Ah well till next time.

Dragonboating

We had 2 dragonboating lessons. It was AWESOME! I love dragonboating! Hahaha. It is definitely better than Spire... Spire is a (sadly) boring lesson teaching us the uses and how to research to prepare us for our research programme some time soon... Sad man. I rather dragonboat every week... But who doesn't? :)

Last week, our boat only had 1 guy - Jia Yi. There was another boat with only 1 guy too. But Jia Yi's a canoer. Haha he was my partner. There was this other boat with 13 guys. OMG. However during the race, we were 2nd! O.o The boat with 13 guys were obviously the first. Sadly, the 205 boat was last. But at least they completed the race and that was the most important thing. Jia Yi didn't come to school today... He was sick. So I paddled alone. So we became the boat with no guys. This week, we were 2nd again... Wow. But this time the boat with 13 guys were not first, it was the boat with 1 guy. Sadly, 205 was last again... But they tried and that's the main thing. The main thing is to try. Whether you win or not, it always starts with trying first. If you don't try, you won't even move.

We just finished 2 tests - IS and LA Journal Entry. Ahh 2 more to go! I can't wait for next Monday to be over, because the other 2 tests are on Monday. Math and Chinese compo. After all the tests are over, I can finally read my storybook! Hahahaha. Omg, haha this is random but I just realised I am appearing offline on MSN after more than 20 minutes...

Yesterday was my brother's birthday... My family and I went to Vivocity. On the MRT on our way to Queenstown MRT Station to wait for my dad, there were foreigners from Youth Olympic Games... I saw their shirt... Columbia. Those were teenagers, probably competitors. And there was 1 Cuba man. My mum sat beside him. He was much older and definitely could not be a participant, so I thought he was probably a coach. After a while, he stood up to give up his seat to me! O.o I wasn't handicapped or carrying heavy stuff or anything... I didn't know what to do so I refused profusely politely (I think) then he proceeded to ask my younger sis to sit. My younger sis refused too. Finally, he sat back down. My mum helped us thank him. Then, she talked to him. It appeared that he didn't really understand or speak English. He is a coach for triathletes. Wow. Oh and he said that in his country (Cuba), the men (points thumb up), and the women (points thumb down) in buses and trains. Lol he meant that the men in Cuba stood in public transports and the women get the seats. Wow Cuba has way better men than Singapore. XD

Haha we dined at Fig and Olive in Vivo. It was nice. :) But it was filling cause we ordered quite a lot. After walking and shopping in Vivo, we bought a whole mudpie from Island Cremery and went home. :) And we ate again. Hahaha I think I put on at least 2kg after all that. Ok I am going to eat dinner (eat again XD).
