Little India Heritage Trail

The trip was not very fun. The tour guide was talking too much. She didn't even let us off on the bus.

Here's how the whole trip went on:

We waited for more about an hour from 7.30a.m before we got on the bus at about 8.30p.m. The guide was talking, talking, talking for the whole trip which took approxmately 20-30 minutes. When we reached Little India, we got down the bus and had to stand outside the exit of the MRT station for ages listening to the guide talk.

After the endless talk, we walked to a place near the shophouses where the guide used Faye as a model to show us how to wear the sari. Then, we walked to a temple. There was too many students from different schools there so we could not get into the temple.

We went to an Indian vegetarian restaurant. The guide bought some Indian food for us to taste. Moneshaa bought some sort of rice dough doughnut or something. It tasted gingerly but I was told that there wasn't any ginger in it. I was not used to Indian food so I took out some snacks I brought I started snacking. Soon, we left the restaurant.

We were brought to the bazaar. Given about 15 minutes to shop, I went off with Mo. Many girls wnated Henna. I was in a dilemma whether to do Henna or not. In the end, I didn't. There was a stall selling stuff like 'Pop' and sprays which contained fluffy or squishy stuff. Many people bought those sprays and started spraying their friends which ended up kinda disastrous. Even more people bought the peacock feather sticks.

15 minutes went past quick and we soon boarded the bus. In the whole bus trip, the guide was talking, talking, talking. After the heritage trail, we still had to do a worksheet. I think it was suppose to be a solo work but everyone ended up sharing answers. I guess... That's what friends are for?

If there are any points or part of the heritage trail missing, please forgive me as I have bad memory lately and spent quite a lot of time for this post. Thank you.
